   Serving as Manager on major highway construction projects ensuring safety, quality, production, installment & construction, and contractual goals are met. • Currently serving as a Utility, Railroad, and Rights-of-Way Coordination & Construction Manager on multiple SCDOT Highway projects consisting of overpasses and interchangers of various designs, major and minor drainage culverts, concrete barrier walls, water and sewer restoration, and concrete pavement. This utility relocation includes electric, telecommunication, television, cellular, water, sewer, ITS, and Traffic Signals. Performing ROW, Railroad, and Sign Operations throughout all projects.• Leading a staff of 8-10 Project Managers & Project Engineers & to ensure they are learning the trade, performing tasks in a proficient manner, managing subcontractors, and constantly growing in their knowledge and confidence of the major highway construction industry. • Developing and reviewing contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the project budget is met and profit is made.• Developing and maintaining relationships with SCDOT representatives and utility representatives on projects by encouraging better communication, direct involvement from all parties, leadership structures that allow all to learn and be engaged, and effective training of all.• Conducting field visits to get to know the other employees and see how they are progressing in their knowledge and skills of the industry. Ensuring all activities follow SCDOT standards and specifications to provide a quality product in a timely manner and within budget.
