Particular focus areas include personnel decisions, wage and hour claims and compliance, leaves of absences, recruitment and hiring, compensation, benefits, workers comp, workplace investigations, safety, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, employment eligibility verification, accommodation requests, and claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.• Positively drive business decisions through collaborative partnerships with business and legal team members, and through these partnerships develop best-in-class legal policies, processes, and procedures to meet business needs, create a positive workplace environment, and appropriately identify and mitigate risks.• Obtain successful outcomes through representation of the Company in administrative proceedings before various federal and state agencies, calling upon years of litigation experience to provide written responses and appearing as needed at administrative hearings. • Manage/hire outside counsel relationships throughout the U.S. and Canada, and routinely serve as strategic partner in employment litigation (experienced in complex single plaintiff and class- and collective-action matters). • Counsel and collaborate with Ethics and Compliance colleagues and other business partners regarding internal investigations across the lifecycle of the investigations.
