About Eric Lee
I am dedicated to helping engineering students achieve their educational and career goals, hopefully helping them learn how to be critical thinkers and problem solvers along the way. Before I became a full time instructor, I used mathematical modeling to examine real-life fluid phenomena for a variety of length scales and flow regimes- Postdoctoral research consisted of the development of software to reconstruct complex networks and then perform flow modeling in order to attain links between physiological structure and plant function- Doctoral research centered on the interaction of particles and polymers in order to find the underlying relationships between fluid properties (stress and rheology) and particle geometry- Undergraduate research involved modeling of fluid flow over airfoils to predict the effect of geometry on lift and drag.Specialties: Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, Particle Suspensions, Mathematical and Theoretical Modeling, Plant Physiology, Programming.
