ABOUT ERIC KROGMAN

I have been a law enforcement officer for the past 25 years. During that time I have served in many different capacities including motor patrol, Indiana Law Enforcement Academy instructor, Emergency Response Team member, police scuba diver, field training officer, crime prevention officer, Crime Free Multi-Housing Coordinator. I am an honor graduate of both the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. I am a certified Crime Prevention specialist from the American Crime Prevention Institute in Louisville, KY as well as a certified Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design(CPTED) Specialist through ACPI. I competed my advanced CPTED training with instructor Art Hushen and obtained my CPTED Professional Designation through the National Institute of Crime Prevention in Greenville, SC at the Hubbel Lighting Institute. I am a A.L.I.C.E. certified Instructor and have completed Level I RAIDER Solo Engagment Training. I was certified as a Crime Free Multi-Housing trainer in San Diego, California in 2011 by the International Crime Free Association. Officer Kevin Corbin and I started the CFMH program at the Evansville Police Department in January of 2013 where it has grown to have over 500 properties in the program. I am co-owner of Verus Security Design Consulting, LLC. along with Kevin Corbin.
