   Eric is a Partner in the Trust Solutions practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Eric has served a wide-range of publicly traded clients, primarily SEC registrants, with a focus in the automotive and industrial product industries. Mr. Kahrl currently serves clients in the greater Minneapolis / St. Paul region where he lives with his wife and three daughters. Eric started his career with PwC in Boston before moving to Cleveland in 2003. He began a tour in the firm’s National Office in 2008 in Florham Park, New Jersey where for two years he worked on diverse issues including business combinations, restructuring, asset impairments and assisting US companies in considering the impacts of IFRS. Subsequent to his National Office assignment, he returned to the Cleveland office in 2010. In 2015, he began a 5 year tour in Tokyo, Japan where he served several multinational automotive clients. Throughout his career, he has assisted SEC registrants with Sarbanes Oxley and raising debt and equity in the public markets. His experiences include multi-element revenue recognition contracts, complex valuation models, inventory costing models, tax accounting matters, goodwill and other impairment assessments, and various matters involving significant estimates and judgments. Eric has extensive experience assisting clients in assessing internal control effectiveness and efficiency. He has also led efforts to design and execute audit plans for large multinational engagements, including working closely with multinational audit teams and coordination with client Internal Audit teams. He has demonstrated success in building relationships and driving collaboration within large, diverse teams. Mr. Kahrl holds a degree in economics and political science from Amherst College. He is a CPA (Ohio, Massachusetts and Minnesota) and is a member of the AICPA.
