I am pivoting 25+ years of operational experience as a Marine Colonel in organizations from 150 to to help midcap companies scale. Who I am: I am the son of a wonderful mother and a father who served for forty years with the Chicago Fire Department. Inspired by my brother and a baby elephant, I joined the Marine Corps and loved every minute. Now, after 28 years, 10 moves, 4 years overseas and countless friendships, I am now working to settle my family in Orange County.What I do: I help midcap companies grow by applying operational and leadership principles learned from my experiences with large organizations during chaotic, complex environments filled with uncertainty. I have learned to focus on building sustainable and repeatable actions that strike the balance between the people, processes and systems. But, once you strike that perfect balance, be ready to adapt! My Approach: I have learned that Ops is Universal because regardless of industry, we are all in the same business… the people business. So, I approach Ops by building, motivating and guiding diverse teams in a collaborative manner. To do this, I work hard a at continuously communicating a clear vision, delivered with a touch of levity and humor to keep things in perspective while instilling confidence.
