About Eric Hubbard
Eric Hubbard is the head of the Development Department for Jovenes, Inc. Eric comes from Evanston, IL, and has been living in Los Angeles since 2003. He enjoys writing, teamwork, and empowering those around him. After graduating from Occidental College in 2007 as a Politics major, he came to work at Jovenes and has been writing grants to fund agency operations & programming. Eric is also responsible for donor development, website/social media content, public relations, and research, advocacy, & storytelling initiatives. Eric has served as the elected representative for Boyle Heights/East LA on the Los Angeles Continuum of Care Coordinating Council. He has also been instrumental in planning the LA Taco Festival, a major event that draws thousands of people to Boyle Heights each year as a fundraiser for Jovenes, Inc. Eric looks forward to continuing to use fundraising and development as tools to help his generation thrive in a society that is undergoing rapid and fundamental changes. Since Eric arrived at Jovenes in 2008, the organization has more than tripled its size and capacity.
