ABOUT ERIC HAAR

With over 20 years of experience in Agile software development, mobile applications and mediated advertising, I am a seasoned and versatile product manager who can deliver innovative and user-centric solutions to complex problems. I have a strong background in product strategy, project management, quality assurance, customer relationship management, and partner relations as well as completing a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credential and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.Most recently, I worked as a product manager for H&R Block, where I defined, prioritized, and implemented a product roadmap of features and defects to enhance virtual tax filing experiences for filers and tax pros alike. I worked closely with UX, design, legal, and engineering teams to deliver tax preparation solutions to more than 1 million customers and thousands of full-time and seasonal tax pros. I also served as the product subject matter expert for the 2023 Digital Drop Off expansion pilot program and created best practices and support documentation for the program. Previously, I spearheaded the creation of CostCapture, a procurement application for Android, iOS, and SaaS, for EquipmentShare, a leading construction technology company. I also led the product management and roadmap creation for 1Weather, a top-rated weather application with over 10 million downloads, for Pinsight Media, a mobile data and advertising company. I have extensive experience in supporting and documenting client/server wireless applications, e-commerce platforms, and content management systems, as well as copywriting and editorial skills. I am passionate about creating products that meet the needs and expectations of the end-users, as well as the business goals and vision of the stakeholders. I am always eager to learn new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance my product management skills and competencies.
