About Eric Gullickson
I am a passionate, award-winning sports journalist with 20 years of experience. I have spent years honing my skills in shooting, storytelling, and anchoring. I have learned to be a leader in my newsroom, not only training co-workers to help execute our coverage but also working with and for my bosses to establish superior sports coverage in our markets. I have worked in four television news markets, working hard to connect with coaches, athletes, organizations, schools, parents, and fans to present information and stories valuable to them in each market. I am a team player who is a relentless worker striving to showcase the people stories in our area that resonate with non-sports fans and sports fans alike. I have won Best Sportstelling awards in four of the past five years of work. I am currently an online MBA student at the University of Buffalo. I am striving to improve the way I lead and connect with people.I would like to find another role in leadership where I can showcase my abilities to tell a story and connect with my community.
