Founded in 2007 by Dr. Eric. D. Grahling, Comprehensive Pain Management of Central Connecticut (CPMCT) is on a mission to deliver the most advanced pain management therapy to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. We use state-of-the-art equipment and innovative procedures to diagnose and address the underlying cause of pain—as well as its side effects—and customize the most effective treatment plans. CPMCT was the first pain management practice in the state of Connecticut to receive accreditation. is a national credentialing entity which promotes superior healthcare settings. We have extensive experience treating patients with a range of pain conditions, from the most common to the most complex and rare syndromes, specializing in treating conditions related to the spine, back, and neck. In addition, we have expertise in treating all other chronic pain conditions, including, but not limited to: cancer pain, headache pain, complex regional pain syndrome (formerly RSD), muscle pain and spasm, shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia), nerve pain, work injury pain, sports injury pain and motor vehicle accident related pain. Everyone at CPMCT has a role in ensuring patients receive the highest level of personalized care and the expertise that patients need to reduce pain, restore function, and optimize their quality of life. We are proud to be a leader in progressive patient care, while providing the comfort and reassurance only a private practice can offer. CPMCT participates with most major insurance carriers. Additionally, our practice excels in caring for injured workers (Worker\'s Compensation). We also accept Letters of Protection for those involved in motor vehicle collisions and are in need of care, but have no health insurance.
