About Eric de Los Santos

Accomplished in-house attorney with extensive experience, providing advice and partnering with teams responsible for responding to all labor and employment-related claims. Proven success executing numerous employment law, compliance, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, resulting in a significant reduction in employment claims and risks. Keen ability in employment and commercial litigation (plaintiff and defense), drafting employment related documents, enforcing non-competition agreements, and managing contingent workers and joint employer liability issues.Employment Advising (U.S. & International)| EEO Compliance | Wage & Hour Compliance | ADA | FMLA |Worker’s Compensation | Union Avoidance | Workplace Investigations | Records Management |Litigation Management | Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion | Employment Screening | Ethics & Compliance | Benefits AdvisingI’ve been fortunate to practice employment law from both ends of the continuum. I started as a plaintiff’s law attorney, successfully trying employment and personal injury cases at the federal and state levels. Following this experience, and just prior to Meta, I served as Deputy General Counsel, VP of Legal, Ethics & Employment at TrueBlue, Inc, a leader in the staffing industry with over employees worldwide. During my tenure as Chief Employment Counsel, I provided critical and strategic advice to company leaders and oversaw the ethics and investigations programs. I also managed a team responsible for responding to all agency claims, audits, and inquiries. One of my proudest achievements was serving as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Council, where I helped to lay the groundwork for the company’s D&I journey, which included the establishment of several, employee resource groups. Many communities have supported me throughout my legal career, and that’s why it’s important for me to give back. Recently, I served as Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel Employment & Labor Law Network. Based on the group’s work and service to the membership, we received the Outstanding Network Award for that year. During this same period, I also served as President of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association, where I expanded the number of affiliates and developed programming to significantly enhance the professional lives of our membership. I continue to participate on various national panels, speaking about employment law and issues of diversity and inclusion. I also take great pleasure in mentoring attorneys new to the practice of law.
