The firm has raised substantial private capital through its Cumulus Funds and other PPM\'s and has achieved targeted returns to investors. In addition, the firm provides consulting to high-net worth clients and deploys various strategies for real estate portfolios including long-term investment, development, and tax equity strategies. Portfolio Companies Include- PEC Velo (Piedmont Energy Connection) is a solar development firm serving utilities, landowners, and environmentally motivated corporations. PEC Velo consults with various utility cooperatives, individuals, public and privately held companies with a green initiative to identify properties eligible for solar power generating capabilities, securing power purchase agreements from participating utilities, and support for tax equity returns. PEC Velo has developed over 100-acres of renewable projects and capitalized $40M+ into renewable investments- Charleston Equity Partners is a registered investment adviser and the organizer of Fund Offerings to comply with the Opportunity Zone Program, to acquire, develop, manage, & operate certain real property or qualifying businesses located within an Opportunity Zone. The primary real property investment focus is multi-family and single-family rental, hotel, office, senior housing, affordable housing, and industrial real estate projects; both initial development as well as re-development and re-positioning opportunities.
