ABOUT ERIC CHAPMAN
Having completed a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, my goal is to utilize the skills I learned to solve problems and communicate information to stakeholders in the life sciences industry. I am driven to apply my critical thinking, scientific analysis, and communication skills in a team-based environment, to help our clients in the life sciences sectors achieve success.During my PhD, I was focused on researching the molecular mechanisms underlying the neurological disorder called Cerebral Cavernous Malformations (CCM). Outside of the lab, I was Vice President of the Molecular Genetics Graduate Student Association and Coordinator of the Ambassador Program, working to promote our department across Canada. I was also a founding member of the Developmental & Stem Cell Biology Trainee Committee at The Hospital for Sick Children. Currently, I am a Consultant at Lifescience Dynamics. My role involves supporting pharmaceutical companies in drug development. This includes using competitive intelligence to provide a robust understanding of market landscapes.
