Shape Therapeutics (Shape Tx) is a development-stage biotechnology company establishing itself as the leader in next-generation gene therapy. Our novel technology platforms enable direct in vivo targeting/modification of RNA by leveraging ADARs (Adenosine Deaminase Acting on RNA), suppressor tRNAs, gene replacement therapy using novel promoter and enhancer elements, and payload delivery with novel adeno-associated viral vectors (AAVs). My primary role is leading a team of talented scientists and research associates in establishing preclinical in vivo studies to advance our technology platforms and to evaluate lead candidates in the relevant disease models.
