As President of the Behavioral Health Service Line at Inova Health, I have the privilege of leading one of the nations’s most progressive behavioral health enterprises, shaping strategy, growth, and innovation to advance whole-person care across Northern Virginia. My focus is on building an integrated, patient-centered continuum that expands access, enhances quality, and delivers measurable outcomes through clinical, operational, and financial excellence.I am double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across academic medicine, health system operations, and behavioral health transformation. Prior to joining Inova, I served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Hackensack Meridian Carrier Behavioral Health, where I helped drive system integration, tele psychiatry expansion, and care redesign initiatives that improved access and throughput across multiple hospitals.Earlier in my career, I was Deputy Director of the Child & Adolescent Department at Bellevue Hospital–NYU, where I helped establish the first child partial hospital program in New York City.Throughout my career, I have also held faculty appointments at Columbia, NYU, Robert Wood Johnson, Rowan, and St. George’s University School of Medicine, and I remain passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians and leaders. I earned my MBA from the University of Arizona Global Campus, complementing my clinical background with a strong foundation in business strategy, operations, and leadership. I have also completed leadership fellowships at Seton Hall University’s Healthcare Executive Leadership Academy and the Hackensack Meridian Physician Leadership Academy, experiences that continue to shape my approach to collaborative, mission-driven leadership.Today, my work at Inova centers on driving national standards in behavioral health access, workforce sustainability and unburdening, digital innovation, and philanthropy, ensuring every patient encounter reflects our commitment to Inova care.
