With more than 20 years of legal experience in the insurance industry, I lead the more than 150 professionals that are part of the corporate and claims legal departments as well as Compliance and Risk Management teams of Club Enterprises, a multi-billion dollar national top ten property & casualty insurance carrier, emergency road service, and travel company. My mission is to improve customer service, modernize service delivery, and enhance department culture, while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and alignment with business objectives.As part of my role, I spearheaded the strategic plan to create a compliance team, launched a legal department operations team, and insourced legal and compliance work. We are now working toward the AI revolution that is impacting the future of legal work and efficiency. Previously, I served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Dearborn Group, a national life, disability, dental, and vision insurance business, where I co-led the company business strategy, talent development, and corporate governance activities. I also played a key role in the creation and build-out of a start-up insurance business and a transformational outsourcing project at Zurich North America, where I was the Vice President, Sr. Assistant General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary. I am passionate about delivering innovative and efficient solutions to complex legal challenges and enabling business growth and transformation.
