With almost 28 years of experience in the oil and gas/offshore industry, including 12 years on land rigs, 13 years offshore in oil and gas, and 2 years and counting in the offshore cable lay industry, I have developed a diverse skill set that allows me to excel in various tasks related to ROV and sea-plow operations.During my time offshore, I have performed a wide range of tasks, including dive support, field maintenance, commissioning, drill support, construction, pipe lay, and fiber optic cable lay. I have also gained extensive knowledge and experience in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.My greatest strengths lie in electrics, software, networking, and fiber optics. I have been commended for my troubleshooting abilities, which are based on a methodical approach that I learned as a Navy electronics tech. I am also skilled at using OEM manuals to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of machines and equipment, including those machines manufactured by Schilling, Perry, and SMD. My ability to quickly adapt to new technology and equipment has been instrumental in my success.I meet requirements set forth in DDESB TP18 and I hold an Army Corp of Engineers number(3051). This skill set is useful for ROV operations in areas with explosive remnants of war or humanitarian demining on land.My skill set also includes above average understanding of fluid dynamics and fluid transfer methods as well as the pumps used for fluid transfer.
