Manage all outside P&C litigation as well as managing all local counsel. Includes locating counsel, negotiating rates, etc. Also Monitor and support auto and property subrogation in all 50 states and Canada and handle major loss and catastrophic files. Manage several major claims projects to ensure proper handling of massive amounts of incoming claims. Developed and deployed training program for select talented individuals in our unit. Selected Accomplishments: Record breaking months/quarters of production and margins.Enhanced the claims aggregation process I created in previous role, which was an innovative way to more efficiently handle high volume subrogation claims. Elevated to senior attorney on staff, responsible for day to day operational oversight of legal matters pertaining to P&C subrogation. Nominated as Emerging Leader in first year at Optum. Later chosen to lead two cohorts of the same program, each on separate tracks.
