About Eric Anderson

Graduating from Emmanuel College (MA) in 2024 with a Bachelor\'s in Business Administration and a minor in Mathematics, I now serve as an Associate Underwriter on Crum & Forster\'s Excess Transportation team. I play a key role in supporting the underwriting process for complex commercial auto risks. My responsibilities include evaluating and triaging new business submissions to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives and underwriting guidelines, maintaining a profitable book of business while working closely with senior underwriters to assess risk profiles, and performing loss analysis for small and large unit accounts within our team. I am proficient at handling binders, processing endorsements, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards. With my mathematics background, I am striving to enhance my usage in data analytics to further develop my underwriting skills. I am passionate about the insurance industry and continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and contribute to my team’s success. I am based in Morristown NJ, but will be located in the Boston area in late 2027.
