Deputy Section Manager - Assist with leadership of the section including 5 group supervisors and 6 senior staff leaders and over 100 system engineers deployed to the section\'s flight project customers: Mars, Europa, Psyche, Earth Sciences, Astrophysics and Special Programs - Key day to day duties include: Facilitate the execution of key section tactical and strategic operations including staffing, external hiring and external recruiting; awards and recognition, facility management, training and mentoring and performance evaluation and management- Develop new and improved methods for V&V planning and execution, system testbed leadership and improvements in the SI & T environment - Provide oversight at the section management level for both the technical quality and process integrity for the section\'s deliverables to all flight project customers, interfacing with our customers on a regular basis- Representing section management at major project and peer reviews - Collaborating with section staff-level cost account managers (CAM) on a regular basis to provide guidance in achieving technical, cost, staffing and schedule objectives. Providing assistance to section\'s CAMs in the resolution of specific issues technical and programmatic issues.
