I work at the intersection of CAD design and marine system simulation, focusing on components used in ship transport, pipe routing, and structural integration onboard vessels.Apart from generating technical 2D drawings, they’re about understanding how every part fits into a larger naval system. Whether it’s drafting a support bracket, modeling a transport structure in Rhino, or running mooring analysis in OrcaFlex, the goal is always the same: precision, reliability, and marine safety.I collaborate closely with naval engineers to model and validate the layout of pipe systems, structural supports, and ship transport assemblies — often switching between tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, Fusion 360, OptiMoor, and PipeFlow to get the details right.Much of my work also involves analyzing how these systems behave in dynamic environments. Using OrcaFlex and OptiMoor, I simulate mooring and motion behavior, ensuring designs hold up in real-world sea conditions. On the piping side, tools like PipeExpert help ensure that flow and pressure losses are anticipated and optimized before fabrication.Beyond design and analysis, I’m responsible for maintaining a consistent, traceable digital workflow: organized model hierarchies, clean revision trails, and drawing packages that shipyards can trust.This role allows me to bridge creative marine design with the rigor of system simulation, and it’s that balance I enjoy most.
