My job is to help Mad Mimi and GoDaddy Email Marketing go global. Every new language in is an exciting milestone, and I\'ll be making the service available in as many languages as possible. There are lots of moving parts to consider, both technological and human, which makes this a big and exciting role with lots of room for creativity and the occasional bit of chutzpah. The role includes putting in place the Rails localization infrastructure, finding and running translators, setting up local support in new regions, helping with localized promotions, and more.As of June 2015, we\'ve made GoDaddy Email Marketing available in English, German, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.As of June 2016, GoDaddy Email Marketing is available in over twenty languages, including Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese, Russian, and many, many others. Managing this process has been as satisfying as I hoped it would be, and now millions of people have access to email marketing tools in their native languages.

Highlights:I created and crowdfunded a complex hardware product (ErgoDox EZ) and shipped it on time. This is now a profitable and bootstrapped business, producing one of the world\'s best ergonomic keyboards.I used to write for PCWorld, and then began working professionally as a developer. I use my prose sensibilities when composing code. I enjoy both Ruby on Rails and React.I care deeply about education and training.
