Now, read on for the summary :) I\'m a computer scientist with a PhD and a full-stack developer who can understand business, design IT service products, do sales, architect systems, and lead geographically distributed teams by working together to implement all aspects of complex computer software. I also like giving talks here and there, when I think I have something to say that people might be interested in hearing. My experience ranges from infrastructure and back-end servers to web or mobile front ends. I am OS, framework, and programming language agnostic: I like picking up suitable ones for the project at hand. I think it\'s fascinating to work out that balance of \"right now\" vs \"perfect\", while still avoiding technological and architectural dead ends in the near and mid-term. I dislike and disagree with the idea that software development is inherently chaotic. I prefer having a process, managing risks, and sustaining a well-focused effort, as opposed to keeping my team under stress to run from one crisis to another deadline. And I like running. Literally :)
