ABOUT ERC CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT

We are based within two of our three campuses at East Riding college. One being in Bridlington and the other forming part of the fantastic new Flemingate development in Beverley. We deliver a variety of HE, Diploma and NVQ qualifications in Site Carpentry/ Joinery, bricklaying, electrical installations and plumbing leading on to a Higher National Certificate in construction and civils pathways in Higher Education. All of these courses are delivered by highly qualified trade specific staff who all hold a Certificate in Education qualification alongside a Level 3 Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance Assessors Award. Assessing NVQ learners in the workplace whether they are apprentices or employers wishing to up skill their staff; in modular building, Site carpentry/ Joinery and bricklaying is something we offer. And we have a highly skilled team of TAQA qualified assessors who will work closely with you and your team to make sure your workforce is assessed regularly to allow for timely acheivments. If you or your employees require CSCS training prior to undertaking the test we run a regular monthly course prior to undertaking the test at our Saint Mary walk campus. We can also deliver bespoke training whether at one of our campuses or if more convenient to your business we can deliver in the work place. Alongside this evening and weekend courses, aimed at those interested in gaining basic DIY skills or in developing them further are a popular addition to our very busy department.
