ABOUT ERAY SAHIN
As a Bioinformatics Analyst at Cmbio, I am involved in data handling, delivery, and reporting to clients, data analysis for client projects including metagenomics and metabolomics, and participating in R&D projects such as multi-omics data analysis. I have more than three years of experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics thanks to collaborations in different projects throughout my PhD educationin Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. My thesis study involves analysis and integration of metabolomics and metagenomics data for gut-brain axis in epilepsy. My interests include bioinformatic analysis of NGS data, data analysis and integration of multi-omics data using R. I have solid background in molecular biology and wet-lab techniques thanks to projects i am involved during BSc and MSc education. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems in life sciences, eager to develop new skills in bioinformatics such as learning Python and workflow development/management, and always open to new collaborations and new challenges.
