About Amit Tiwari
With over 25 years of experience in the software industry, Amit has successfully led and consulted on numerous software projects across the globe. As the founder and senior leader of the MKT Group, he oversees operations both in India and internationally, driving the strategic direction, growth, and development of its diverse technology ventures.Prior to establishing MKT, he held key leadership roles including CEO of Anchor Cyber State (an Anchor Group Company) and Project Manager at Optimos Inc. He also worked with HP early in his career. His global exposure spans across sectors such as education, textiles, electronics, FMCG, telecom, and IT services, enriching his expertise in business and technology.A strong proponent of industry-academia collaboration, Amit has been an active mentor and advisor to numerous start-ups and educational institutions. He is the Past President of TiE Uttar Pradesh Chapter, currently serves as a Governing Council Member at TiE, and is on the Advisory Board of various incubation centres, universities, and engineering/management colleges. He is also a founding member of the Kanpur Angel Network, where he has mentored and funded several start-ups at the angel investment stage. he is also been associated with IIT JODHPUR as an Independent Director.Despite his deep roots in technology and business, literature—especially Hindi Sahitya—holds a special place in Amit’s heart. Believing in the power of positive thoughts to influence society, he launched an AI-enabled media tech company,\"Gaatha\", with the mission to bring India’s rich literary heritage to life in modern audio formats—making it accessible to people in today’s fast-paced world.An avid sportsperson, he is passionate about cricket and chess, and enjoys aviation sports like paragliding and flying microlight aircraft. He also holds a Private Pilot License.
