ABOUT ERA GUPTA
I am a medical graduate from Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute (BMCRI), India, preparing for the NRMP Match 2026 in Internal Medicine, with a strong interest in Gastroenterology.This year, I completed electives at Johns Hopkins, Emory, and UAB, where I gained hands-on experience in consult services, advanced heart failure therapies, and gastroenterology procedures. Alongside, I’ve presented my research at the AAN, and ACC 2025 focusing on the role of AI in medicine, advanced therapies, and neurorehabilitation.Beyond clinical training, I founded Project 1 Billion, a UN SDG 3 initiative addressing obesity and reproductive health, and have led advocacy efforts in ethics, reproductive health, and community outreach through AMSA and MSAI.As I move towards residency, I hope to combine clinical rigor, research, and advocacy to build a career rooted in both science and service.
