Project: Project Management and Authority Engineering Services (PMAE) for Construction of Green field Six Lane Extradosed Stay Cable Bridge over river Ganga near Kacchi Dargah in Dist- Patna on NH-30 to near Bidupur in Dist- Vaishali on NH-103 in the state of Bihar on EPC mode; Total Project Cost: INR 4988.4 Crores (ADB Funded); Client: Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited; Contractor: Daewoo-Larsen & Toubro (L&T) JV.Activities Performed:1. Main Bridge activities: New Six Lane Extradosed Stay Cable Ganga bridge comprises a striking length of 9.76 Km (9759m). The bridge is having 67 Piers with 150m long middle span and 75m long side span. It is divided into blocks A, B, C, D&E, each block consisting of 3 Piers except the connection part which has 4 Pier in it.Details are as follows:~Block A=E= 2x304.5m = 609mSpan-1x79.5m (side span)+2x75m (middle span)+1x75m (side span)~Block B=D=19x450m = 8550m; Span-1x75m+ 4x75m+ 1x75m~Block C= 1x600m = 600m (Connection Part); Span-1x75m+ 6x75m+ 1x75m> Monitoring the erection of segments for 150m long middle and 75m long side spans.> Execution of prestressing for longitudinal, transverse, strut & PT bar.> Witnessing the 1st & 2nd stage Stay cable stressing followed by lift off test.> Inspection the reinforcement, formwork, PT profile, other activities related to segment casting at Pre-Cast Yard.> Supervising the installation of Strong Back (Levelling Beam) for level and planar correction followed by Pre-Jacking at the middle span.2. Supervision of 2 Major bridges on Pile foundation and PSC \"I\" girder and RCC deck.3. Execution of 2 ROBs having Bow String Arch girder with RCC deck.4. Execution of 4 Viaducts of lengths 838m, 719m, 451m, 330m.5. Execution of 2 Minor bridges.6. Execution of 8 Grade Separator Interchanges, 1 Flyover, 2 Toll Plazas, 1 Museum, 3 VUP, 10 PUP/CUP and 14 Culverts.
