ABOUT EPPY HARRIES PUGH
Experienced Communications Manager working in the non-profit and higher education sector, with a focus on social responsibility and sustainability. Coordinating the design and delivery of SRS strategic communications campaigns, projects and plans which support the successful delivery of the University’s sustainability, social & community impact objectives. Always audience-led.Amongst other things, I am currently the communications lead for the University’s Forest and Peatland programme. This a multi-million-pound, long-term project to capture and store unavoidable University carbon emissions, and benefit nature, through restoring peatlands and expanding forests in Scotland. During my time at the University with the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, the QS World Rankings ranked The University of Edinburgh 1st in the UK and Europe and 4th in the world for sustainability (2022/23). Interested in behaviour change communications and using storytelling as a communications tool to engage audiences. Masters Degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Leeds.
