When I say \"I really like my job and love applying technology to retail\" I\'m not joking. To some it\'s just a job but for me this sector is different. I have taken products from zero code to complete turn-key solutions. With 20+ years experience in the ePOS, POS and Retail industry I bring comprehensive hands-on knowledge of the sector that is hard to come by. In particular I have hard knowledge of international fiscalization procedures and development standards, EFT systems, SCO Self-checkout systems, Manual and Automated Cash Management Systems, roll-out handling procedures including transitions from local currencies to the euro, mobile technologies, in-depth knowledge of non-trivial \"in-situ\" and centralized Loyalty schemes and analysis, automated video promotion algorithms, eCouponing, automated CCTV monitoring, electronic rail card or shelf edge ticketing, biometrics, fiscal electronic signing, inventory management, POS for offline and online operation, cloud enabled applications, web services, automated document creation and much more. I have completed projects for the retail sector for the major retail chains in Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria, France, UK and other countries while maintaining the same seamless operation for all countries so reducing integration, fiscal and training overheads while facilitating the seamless handling of fiscal data. I have an in-depth knowledge of the difficulties of the varied implementations and front office hardware configurations and know the solutions. I have implemented solutions with close cooperation with vendors such as IBM, Toshiba, Wincor Nixdorf, NCR, FirstData, Euronet, PrinTec, EDPS and many more. Customers have included Carrefour, Marks & Spencers, Marinopoulos, Masoutis, MarketIn, Accessorize, Monsoon and many others.
