Primary Quality Assurance automation and performance resource for two of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program Analytics and Reporting teams. Built a kubernetes (k8s) JMeter distributed load testing platform in Amazon EC2, scalable to simulate thousands of users hitting service APIs to insure stability and performance. Comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports were generated with each run to analyse and troubleshoot the bottlenecks. Responsible for load/performance testing and reporting for the migration of PostgreSQL to AWS Redshift data warehouse, culminating in an average of ~1800% performance upgrades.Wrote a suite of API regression and performance smoke tests comprising of ~ 500 REST requests, triggered to run on a daily Jenkins job, together with reporting from the Jenkins JMeter plugin to compare baselines and automatically sent a daily slack notification.
