More info and full CV available @ https://desena.org. My research interests include spatial audio, room acoustics modelling, sound eld reproduction, beamforming and psychoacoustic modelling. I secured over £5M of research funding as PI on these topics, £3.9M of which externally. My research has been showcased at the National Gallery, Royal Society Science Exhibition, Bell Labs, WOMAD, IBC, and was featured on diMartedì (3M view.), Quinta Dimensione (1M view.), Financial Times (1M circ.). I am a Senior Member of the and a member of the Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing Technical Committee. I currently serve as Associate Editor for the EURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech and Music Processing and Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing. I chaired the 27th International Conference On Digital Audio Effects (DAFx-24). I am a recipient of an EPSRC New Investigator Award and a co-recipient of best paper awards at WASPAA-21, AVAR-22 and AES Europe-25.
