I am currently working as the Programme Manager for a pilot programme called Design Hub.Design Hub aims to support those underrepresented in the entrepreneurial sector who come from a non-tech/stem background and have an innovative product idea they would like to develop. Participants will have access to mentorship and guidance from seasoned product development professionals and will be able to unlock up to pounds worth of funding to support the creation of prototypes of their concept.We hope to build confidence and support those in the development of their product and hope to put them on a path to gain more support moving forward.

ABOUT ENYA CARROLL
Currently, the programme manager working on the new free programme offered by Catalyst called Design Hub. Design Hub offers people from non-tech backgrounds with innovative product ideas to try, test and develop their idea in a safe and risk-free environment, I have been working on the design, organisation and management of this new programme and am looking forward to supporting the passionate participants through the front end product development process.Previously a Design Researcher and industrial designer with the in-house design team at Kenwood Ltd.in 2021, I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Product Design from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin.I am curious and passionate about how design impacts our lives. I would like to design playfully and contribute positively to our world. I aspire to infuse my research and design skills to create beautiful, functional objects that help humans and the planet alike.
