About Osen Iyahen
With over 20 years of work experience, I am a passionate and visionary leader in the field of environmental sustainability. I founded Optimal Greening, a non-profit organization that delivers innovative and impactful solutions for clean water, energy, sanitation, and waste management to unserved communities in Africa. Optimal Greening develops and implements sustainability projects to meet the needs of marginalized communities.At Optimal Greening, I lead a team of dedicated and diverse professionals who share a common vision of restoring dignity to Africans through access to environmental sustainability services anchored on community engagement. I oversee the strategic planning, fundraising, partnership development, and project implementation of programs. Optimal Greening’s foundational program focuses on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) via sustainable solutions for the economic empowerment of rural and disadvantaged communities.I hold an MBA from INSEAD, an ALM in Sustainability from Harvard University, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia. I have also completed graduate certificates in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation, and Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Extension and Harvard Business Schools respectively. I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Manager.
