Support Commercial, Engineering, QC in any material/logistical costing related functions. I.E. This reduced accumulated material sequencing cycle times by 2 hours per 20 hours worked or 1,200 units. Saved 10% on engineering assembly testing material orders by utilizing cost saving initiatives such as shared parts from outgoing program, scrap parts that are the same fit and form. Planned and implemented new warehouse system for hourly bargaining employees to utilize so that Mobis could FIFO material as expected by the customer and increase inventory cycle count accuracy. This also reduced down times due to no longer needing lead time to locate material. Review 830/862 to accurately release new product raw materials to tier 2 suppliers for accurate forecasting. Retrofit outgoing program packaging for estimated cost savings of over the life of the new program. Arranged delivery of new program packaging Fleet and conducted internal material flow testing with dunnage to provide feedback for PFEP and conduct changes for any safety or cycle time concerns found.
