Experience: Actually head of offshore weld integrity group in SAIPEM S.p.A. Offshore technology unit. Earlier (20••••19) head of offshore weld, NDT and material office in Saipem S.p.A. Offshore Technologies unit in Fano. Saipem is a world wide leader in the oil an gas field development both onshore and offshore. Expert in design and conversion of pipeline for hydrogen or CO2 transportation. Earlier (20••••14) material technologies lead. Involved in different EPCI, FEED and detailed design activities as steel material and anticorrosion coatings specification, supplier evaluation and follow-up. EPCI projects managing Weld, NDT, Field Joint coatings, Materials and weld structural integrity: WDDM (Phases 4, 6, 8b, 9a), Filanovsky trunk line, Pre Salt, Lakash, Absheron, SNAM FSRU Ravenna, BGUp Bouri Project, Sakarya Phase 3 Project. Earlier head of the material office in Saipem Fano office (20••••12). Major offshore pipeline projects (19••••14): Europipe, Langeled, Blue Stream, Green Stream, Dolphin, Sakhalin onshore, Medgaz, Nord Stream, South Stream, Ichtys, Zohr, Liza, Absheron, NFPS, Payara. Formerly worked as R&D Engineer for Snamprogetti I.e. the engineering Company of the ENI Italian Oil and Gas group (1990) as structural engineer for installation, pipeline structural integrity and defective girth weld fracture mechanics analyses. Working several years in Norway for several projects and for the development of DNV 96, former DNV ST-F10•••••••97). Education- master degree in mechanical engineering with top score and honors (marche Polytechnic University 1990)- Higher course in system reliability (NTNU Trondheim, 1994)- AMPP/NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 1 (2014) Member of- NACE/AMPP International Corrosion Society - Italian Engineers Association - company rep in TWI (Cambridge) Publications: Author of more than 50 papers in conferences and journals related to the offshore and onshore oil and gas field.
