As a Telematics V2X software engineer in an embedded agriculture Linux project, I specialize in autonomously managing the following- Developing efficient telematic modules in C++17/20, polling incoming critical data from the vehicle, and forwarding them to the cloud to enable edge computing. Implementing these as standalone modules and ensuring interoperability between them via a data-contract approach, using Redis, Protobuf, and gRPC- Implementing OS middleware connectors in several languages (Rust, C++, Go), allowing the application stack to lock and acquire singleton HW resources for critical application data management- Reviewing code and proposing solutions for efficient and effective solutions. Refactoring legacy codebases to improve and maintain existing applications- Conducting maintenance and development of the EdgeX embedded cloud computing framework. This involves allowing applications to subscribe listeners by topic, making HW to SW event flow easier to track and manage. All of the aforementioned activities are performed following CI/CD and Agile methodologies
