My goal as a reading specialist/graduation coach/educator/literacy is to ensure the successful transition of all students from elementary to middle school, middle to high school, and high school to post-secondary education or work.I identify and provide early intervention services to students at risk of dropping out or otherwise not graduating by:1. Analyzing data to identify students at-risk of dropping out2. Implementing school wide support interventions3. Motivating students to focus on a graduation plan4. Negotiating extra help services 5. Offering academic advisement 6. Providing direct student support and case management 7. Connecting parents and students with appropriate school and community resources 8. Encouraging parent/community involvement
