In my role as an Assistant Psychologist with the Psychological Services for People with Learning Disabilities at the NHS Foundation Trust, I have been deeply involved in providing psychological support to individuals with learning disabilities. My responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing intervention plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions under the supervision of the consultant clinical psychologist. This role has allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, refine my clinical skills, and gain a profound understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities.
