Engy Mohamed is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Accounting and Reporting Advisory. She has more than 9 years of experience assisting clients with a variety of technical accounting topics, including complex business combinations and asset acquisitions, variable interest entity assessment and consolidation, Accounting Standard Codification (“ASC”) 842 lease standard, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and conversion between International Financial Reporting Standard to United States Generally Accepted Accounting Standard. Engy also has experience working with pre-IPO clients, where she performed IPO readiness assessments, as well as provided IPO uplift assistance. Her experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance includes performing risk assessments, developing, and executing annual audit plans, identifying gaps within existing controls and providing management with strategic recommendations, as well as providing material weakness remediation support for a Fortune Global 500 public company.
