Mechanical Engineering internship in the Powertrain area at Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, one of Tesla’s five Gigafactories worldwide and the only one in Europe- Supporting Mechanical Technical Services activities within the Powertrain area, particularly in the Cell Building during its commissioning phase and Drive Unit, under the guidance of experienced engineers and technicians- Gaining hands-on exposure to industrial dehumidification systems, understanding their critical role in maintaining controlled dew point, temperature, and pressure conditions required for safe and reliable cell manufacturing environments- Assisting the team in day-to-day support of key mechanical utility systems, including compressed air, chilled water, heating water, cooling towers, and HVAC systems- Supporting commissioning activities, system checks, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical systems in a high-safety industrial environment- Assisting in the preparation and review of LOTO procedures, maintenance checklists, and equipment documentation for existing and newly commissioned systems- Supporting the development of spare parts lists, basic maintenance planning, and documentation in coordination with operations, engineering, and EHS teams.

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from NED University of Engineering and Technology, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Process, Energy, and Environmental Systems Engineering at TU Berlin.I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in the Powertrain Technical Services team at Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, gaining hands-on experience in critical mechanical systems, commissioning activities, industrial utilities, and controlled environments in cell production.Previously, I worked at Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited (EPCL), where I gained experience in equipment reliability, vibration diagnostics, and maintenance optimization, contributing to improving operational reliability of compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Earlier, I completed industrial internships in power generation, shipbuilding, and steel manufacturing, which provided a strong foundation in mechanical systems, testing methods, and production processes.I am passionate about energy systems, industrial process optimization, and sustainable technologies, and I enjoy exploring roles that connect mechanical engineering with data-driven solutions and energy innovation.
