As an electrical engineer working on a Qatar Energy project “North Field South (NFS) Project Onshore LNG Facilities, with a capacity of 16 MTPA with 2 trains. My responsibilities and accomplishments as an Electrical Engineer include:SPELSmart Electrical (SEL), also known as Smart Plant Electrical by Hexagon. This software is a vital tool for managing various aspects of electrical engineering projects, starting from importing and linking Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) with specific equipment and their specifications, to connecting them within the software framework. including:Deliverables:Electrical Equipment Database Management: Inputting and organizing specifications for transformers, panels, switchboards, and other critical components. Assign accurate Cable Tags, Cable Sizes, and Equipment Tags.Cable Schedule: Managing routing, connections, and specifications for all project cables.Load List and Equipment List: Tracking all load demands and corresponding equipment in an integrated database.Switchboard Composition: Structuring and associating switchboards with their respective loads and equipment.Ensuring project quality and HSE objectives are met.Reporting on assigned engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead ElectricalInterfacing with other discipline engineers to ensure seamless project execution.Developing and/or checking electrical drawings, including Single Line Diagrams, Area Classification drawings, Grounding System layouts, Panel/Cable schedules, Equipment layouts, Cable layouts, Lighting system layouts, and Electrical installation details.Technical Documentation:Technical Specifications: Define equipment standards and installation requirements.Technical Datasheets: Provide detailed equipment descriptions for procurement and design.Material Requisition: Prepare requisitions aligned with project schedules and specifications.UPS Design and Calculation notes: Prepare UPS Calculation notes and design according to the load requirements.
