Greetings from Dresden! I am Dr. Engin Yesil, the Chief Business Officer at Getron, responsible for global business development operations.With my long academic background, starting in Istanbul Technical University, later followed by Dresden Technology University allowed me to lecture and do research a lot. Leading multiple domestic and global projects in principal investigator and advisor positions scaled up my multi-cultural communication and project execution skills. I have intensive knowledge on funding organizations and environment at local and international levels. As I have been living in Germany since 2014, working as an academic and a business professional, I’m well-capable of running projects and business operations globally.My core research interests are in artificial intelligence (AI), notably computational intelligence, type-1 and type-2 fuzzy systems, fuzzy logic, neural networks, and optimization. My concentration sub-fields are intelligent systems, computational intelligence, supply chain management, process control and automation. I have authored more than 100 papers in national and international journals, conferences, and books, and I actively work as reviewer for more than 40 international journals.I joined #TeamGetron in 2010 and have been executive management roles since 2014. Our aspirations and our expertise have taken us so far, but we never agree to settle. We’re always eager to deepen our relationships with our customer base, always on the look for new prospects, new ways of doing business, and improving Getron Services. Getron is an Independent Service Vendor (ISV) of Microsoft, with its ready-to-sell solution called Getron Services, it’s been listed on Azure Marketplace since December 2022 as a Microsoft Preferred Solution. Getron Services are Microsoft Azure Commitment Consumption (MACC) eligible. And as of 2023, we’ve been granted the “Microsoft Solutions Partner” Data & AI (Azure).
