ABOUT RUBY BAĆANOVIĆ

Multidisciplinary designer with over 12 years of experience building thoughtful, award-winning, high-impact designs across brand, web, and digital products. I specialize in crafting strategic, user-centered design solutions that are both beautiful and functional, spanning early-stage startups to global brands.I’ve worked independently and within global studios, agencies, and product teams, including Authentic, Elevate Labs, Graveflex, FIVE (now Endava), and PowerToFly. Through my independent practice, ONNO, I’ve partnered with clients like Google, REI, TechCrunch, GE, Magnolia Market, Avalanche, Best Made Company, and This Saves Live, shaping brands, scaling products, and launching successful campaigns across web and mobile.Most recently, at Authentic, I’ve designed elevated, conversion-focused websites for luxury real estate developments, creating scalable design systems, marketing assets, and brand collateral that help properties lease faster and stand out in competitive markets.Previously, as Senior Product Designer at Elevate Labs, I led brand and product design for the Balance meditation app, from UX/UI across platforms to visual identity, growth campaigns, and social design. During my time there, Balance won Google’s Best App of 2021, 2020 Award of Excellence by Communication Arts, multiple MUX Awards, and was featured three times by Apple. The app surpassed 2 million downloads, earned a 4.9 App Store rating, and grew its social following from 100 to of client work, I’m the founder and curator of The Design Blog, a design platform that highlights inspiring design work from around the world. TDB has been featured in numerous industry-leading publications and recognized among the top design blogs globally.
