About Emily Winters

As the lead the Higher Education studio in Texas for the DLR Group, I am responsible for growing the practice by collaborating with project teams to deliver design solutions that meet the diverse needs of colleges and universities statewide. I have served higher education clients exclusively during my career, including the programming, planning, and design for facilities at Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, Rice University, UT Heath Science Center and Blinn College District. With higher education projects, my clients are innovators in their field. To create spaces that support their missions, my team embeds ourselves in the clients\' work and routines. I enjoy becoming an \"expert\" in my clients\' passions. Then dreaming with them about how their built environment can help them improve the world and then we make it happen! It is incredibly rewarding to know our projects are an impactful piece of our clients\' success.
