I am a Communications Specialist by trade and a Community Organizer at heart. I am proud of my diverse educational, professional, and personal experiences which have allowed me to interact with many different kinds of people and understand the vital nature of community in all areas of our lives. I was brought up taught that we all must “pull all the levers we can reach”, meaning that every individual has a responsibility to help whomever we can as much as we can, no matter in what way that might be. I am equally motivated by people as I am by data (although let’s face it…all data goes back to people anyway), and I am passionate about using research, systems thinking, and data processing to tell stories that connect and empower. I am eager to use my unique skills acquired through many opportunities to better any community that I become a part of, particularly when it comes to relationship building and storytelling.
