ABOUT ELIZABETH MUNCAL
With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit development and a master\'s degree in nonprofit studies, I am a passionate and skilled fundraiser who thrives in an innovative and collaborative environment. I currently serve as the Senior Director of Development at ASU Foundation for a New American University, where I lead and manage a diverse portfolio of fundraising projects and initiatives for various ASU colleges and institutes.As the foundation liaison and a member of the leadership team, I work strategically with deans, directors, faculty, and staff to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. I have successfully raised over $3 million in gifts and pledges, and diversified the sources of funding for the ASU priorities. I also created and led the Emerging Initiatives department, which evaluates and recommends new fundraising opportunities and approaches. In addition, I share management responsibilities for the fundraising and support staff, ensuring their professional development and performance.
