ABOUT EMRE TARIM
I am interested in understanding the nexus between individual cognition and behaviour and social and economic institutions. My ongoing work focuses on financial cognition and decision making in the context of retail and institutional financial services. Relatedly, I am embarking on a new research project on immigrants\' savings and investment behaviour in the UK and rest of Europe. My primary aim is to explore the behavioural and institutional determinants of immigrants\' savings and investment activities and discuss what these findings imply for the scholarly and policy debates on immigration and integration issues.
