ABOUT BEN ROBERTSON

Born with an inherent entrepreneurial spirit, I can identify opportunities in every situation and harness my Business Administration knowledge to optimize the opportunity. I am a Founder of a bespoke shoemaking business firm designed to address the pain points of various Shoe lovers in Ghana while addressing unemployment. As the Brand Executive, I have had FOUR graduates from my apprenticeship program in my EIGHT years. I grew the business from a staff of THREE to FIFTEEN using Bootstrapping. My most extraordinary feat was increasing sales by 20% in 2020 during a lockdown period when organizations recorded losses.( As a Sales and Marketing executive with 2 Financial Institutions, I approached all my duties from the \"founder\" point of view, asking three questions in every encounter i) what would the \"founder\" have done? ii) How would the \"founder\" do it? When would the \"founder\" do it? These questions helped me achieve and exceed my targets and gave me good reviews leading to my second appointment with another Financial Institution through poaching. In a Managerial role in an Oil and Gas Firm, I increased sales by 74% in my first 90 days. This feat I achieved without changing the existing team. I played my role as a leader while managing the team and applying my \"3 questions\" preamble. I formulated strategies, made use of the available resources, and coordinated employees using my people\'s skills in achieving high and improved sales figures all through my stay.
