Research scientist with expertise in bioinformatics, proteomics, epidemiology and biostatistics with 15+ years of post-graduate quantitative analytical experience and 8 years of industry experience. As a lead oncology bioinformatician and manager at Gilead sciences, I primarily worked on projects related to biomarker research and development in late phase clinical studies for advanced solid tumors (including NSCLC, SCLC, HNSCC, mUC, gastric cancer). I have also worked in the inflammation space, investigating the immune landscape of patients with rheumatoid arthritis in response to JAK inhibitors. As an epidemiologist and biostatistician, I have also worked on COVID-19 research leading to the first publication of the utility of Remdesivir in treating Covid-19 infections. My graduate work in epidemiology at UC Berkeley covered multiple fields of research, including autoimmune disorders such as type 1 diabetes, Sjogren\'s syndrome and multiple sclerosis. I completed a doctoral dissertation on the intersection of psychosocial factors and genetic determinants of obesity.
